Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrival / Delhi
Meeting and assistance on arrival at the international airport and transfer to your hotel. Delhi, Capital City of independent India rewards the determined sightseer with more than a thousand monuments and two old capital buildings complexes including the present seat of Government, designed by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Cosmopolitan hotels, shopping, and fine restaurants abound. Delhi also offers a glimpse into the real India: the labyrinthine street bazaars of Old Delhi, and the temples and monuments of Indian’s chequered colonial past. In the deepest sense, from Old Delhi’s Red fort and Jama Masjid mosque to New Delhi’s chic art galleries and nightclubs, Delhi is profoundly Indian city. Overnight at Hotel Imperial.

Day 02, Delhi
Full day sightseeing to discover the many faces of Old & New Delhi. Many cultural events take place here; the latest plays, classical Indian music and dance performances and sports. Delhi also has number of wonderful museums including the 4 National Museum, the Museum of Modern art, the Museum of Natural History and the Arts and Crafts Museum where artisans can be seen at work. The Old Delhi or Shah Jahanabad, was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the first half of the 17th Century. This old city is a dense network of narrow alleys and tightly packed markets and houses. We visit from outside the largest of the Delhi’s monuments Red Fort, or Lal Qila, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of by cycle rickshaw and Chandni Chowk. The New Delhi with its wide tree-lined avenues and solid colonial buildings has been the seat of the central government since 1931. We will visit Humayuns tomb, Qutub Minar and drive past the Vice Regal Lodge past the Rajpath to India Gate, a war memorial. Overnight at Hotel Imperial.

Day 03 – Delhi / Nagpur / Kanha
Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Nagpur. You will be met on arrival at Nagpur airport and drive 4 to 5 hrs to Kanha National Park. Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve is situated in central India, created in 1955, spreads over 945 kms square in Madhya Pradesh. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog apart from the rich forest that consists of Sal, other mixed forest trees, interspersed with meadows. Dense forests have abundant species of climbers, shrubs and herbs. Its forests, ravines and grassy meadows inspired Rudyard Kipling to write “Jungle Book”. On arrival Check into the Taj Banjaar Tola lodge for overnight.

Day 04, Kanha
Early morning after a hot cup of tea, game viewing in the Kanha National Park with your naturalist and exclusive jeep. After lunch relax by the pool side at the lodge or take a nap. Afternoon game viewing in the national park with your private naturalist and exclusive jeep. Dinner and overnight at Lodge. emples. Evening sound and light show at the western group of temple complex. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05, Kanha
Early morning after game viewing in the Kanha National Park with your naturalist and exclusive jeep. After lunch relax by the pool side at the lodge or take a nap. Afternoon game viewing in the national park with your private naturalist and exclusive jeep. Overnight at Lodge

Day 06, Kanha / Bandhavgarh
Early morning after game viewing in the Kanha National Park with your naturalist and exclusive jeep. Later check out of the lodge and drive 6 to 7 hrs to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh National Park – is the best place to see the tigers or the big cat in the wild. The park area is small compared to Kanha National park and therefore you have better chances of sighting the tigers. It is also the best place for lensemen to use their expertise to best and capture some magic moments. We need to stay at least 3 to 4 nights to get some good shots. National park boasts of good number of tigers along with the some other species of animals like sloth bear, leopard, deer, barking deer and wild dogs. It is also a good place for birdwatching. Flora and fauna is in abundance and forms an integral part of the jungle. On arrival check into your lodge Mahua Kothi for overnight.

Day 07, Bandhavgarh
Early morning game viewing in the national park with your private naturalist and exclusive jeep. Afternoon game viewing into the national park by exclusive jeep and private naturalist. Dinner and overnight at Mahua Kothi Lodge.

Day 08, Bandhavgarh
After a hot cup of tea prepare yourself for game viewing in the national park by 4 wheel drive jeep with naturalist. Afternoon visit Bandhavgarh fort with packed lunch in the middle of the national park. Evening game viewing in the national park by jeep with naturalist. Dinner around the camp fire and overnight Mahua Kothi.

Day 09, Bandhavgarh / Panna
Morning jungle excursion by jeep with your naturalist and exclusive jeep. Later check out of the lodge and drive 4 to 5 hrs to Panna. Panna National Park is located in central India and close to Khajuraho. The National park is home to chital, the chinkara, the sambhar and the sloth bear apart from the king of Indian jungles called “Tiger”. The park also has more than 200 species of birds. On arrival check into the Pashan Garh Lodge for overnight stay.

Day 10, Panna / Khajuraho
Early morning depart for an exclusive game drive into the Panna National Park by jeep with naturalist. After breakfast check out of the lodge and drive 45 minutes to Khajuraho. Khajuraho, the name of the town has been derived from a Sanskrit word “Khajura” or date palm. It is a world heritage site and a popular tourist destination has the largest group of Hindu and Jain temples famous for their erotic sculpture. The temples have been preserved and today are a fine example of India architectural style. The temples are divided into three main divisions – eastern, western and southern. The large western group of temples is the most erotic. The western group of temples offers a well made sound and light show at the temple complex. On arrival check into your hotel. Late evening sound and light show at the western group of temple complex. Overnight at The Lalit Temple View.

Day 11, Khajuraho / Agra
After early breakfast proceed sightseeing of Khajuraho visiting some of the most exotic temples, a fine example of arts and architecture. Afternoon drive 4 hrs to Jhansi railway station to board Express train to Agra (travel in Air conditioned first class Chair Car). Agra - The city of Agra, the quintessence of the grand Mughal era, reigns to this day in the public mind as the embodiment of royal grace, imposing architecture and power. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel Amarvilas for overnight.

Day 12, – Agra / Delhi / Departure
Early morning visit Taj Mahal at sunrise. Taj Mahal is an enduring monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. The Taj Mahal to the Poet Tagore was “a tear on the face of eternity”, a building to echo the cry “I have not forgotten, I have not forgotten, O beloved”. After breakfast visit Agra Fort. Agra Fort on the Western bank of the River Yamuna, Akbar’s magnificent fort dominates the centre of the city. The site was originally used by the son of Sher Shah, but the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the walls and gates and the first building inside. Later drive 4 hrs to Delhi international airport for flight to onward destination.
